Assistant Category Manager
Salary: £18,000 - £25,000k p.a.
Location: Tamworth
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate or junior marketer with a 1-3 years' experience to join a global, market-leading B2C brand in Staffordshire.
Responsibilities include:
- Support with the delivery and development of the marketing communication plans on time, brand and budget
- Range planning, conducting launch forecasts and analysing range performance
- Review market data and conduct competitor research, identifying new opportunities worldwide
- Build inspiring presentations on future category potential, creating innovative new concepts around New Product Development, communicating to key internal and external stakeholders
- Keep up to date with trends and industry developments, ensuring you are a knowledgeable brand champion
- Support with the delivery of product launches, trade shows and events - UK and international
You must have the following skills and attributes:
- Strong data and analytical skills (MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to project manage work and meet deadlines
- Degree educated
